Low Profile Dimple Die Information

The Flume Mfg Dimple Tool is designed to be as compact as possible while being robust enough to handle the strain from pressing dimples into metal. All of the standard dimple die options will easily fit mountain bike frames from the last few decades, however with many road and cyclocross frames, there won’t be enough room for the tool to fit between the chainstays. To remedy this, we offer a low profile version of the medium dimple die.

The low profile dimple die has a similar dimple shape as the medium die but it’s height is reduced by 10mm. The low profile dimple die can only be used on the fixed side because it doesn’t have a recess on the backside for the thrust bearing.
